This February, I had the pleasure to be the guest speaker for APPA the Atlanta Post-Polio Association support group at the Shepherd Center. I was impressed by the general good attitude my audience had with regards to their health, yet I was acutely aware of the physical manifestations polio has on someone‟s body throughout the years.
