I’ve seen many chiropractors over the years, and I can honestly say no one has adjusted me as well as her. I’m also receiving focused therapy for jaw pain with good results, and I’ve been so impressed with the thoughtful, personalized care I’m getting. She’s fun, caring, inspiring, and truly listens. She will not do chiropractic treatment without xray and initial consult first which I appreciate in a practitioner I think that’s super important — something to consider for new patients and I later learned that is generally two separate appointments so plan ahead! Aside from that she is a genuinely curious and kind practitioner who seems to care for your overall health. She offers a variety of wellness treatments for you to consider.Posted on Google

My adjustment appointments always have me leaving feeling physically AND mentally better. I couldn’t recommend her enough to my clients (as a Pilates instructor) and to my family and friends who have similar experiences in their wellness journey. Laura Rawlins250 days agoI have never considered chiropractic treatment for chronic arthritis in my foot. My journey began at the end of 2025. After consulting with Dr. Caroline, she recommended a treatment program specific to me and I can report that I am walking with no pain. I had a large mass of swollen cartilage on the top of my foot. It has substantially reduced in size. The other benefits of alignment etc has in general given me an overall improvement of well-being. The office is very good with communication. She did a complete analysis, including an xray of my back (no chiropractor had ever done that). She was able to understand what my neck issues were, immediately, and the problems with my spine. She used chiropractic treatments on my back and neck . I finally feel at peace. She used Class Four low level laser therapy on my knee—-/no more issues with my knee! G. Sue Kasun314 days agoI'm updating my review, after five years of regular adjustments: Dr. Caroline continues to be an amazing chiropractor, and I've been to so, so many. She has many highly developed skills she leans into in order to serve the individual needs of each of her patients. I've been her patient for five years now and need to go much, much less frequently in large part due to her supportive treatment. I wouldn't trade her for anyone else! She's also authentic and honest, which I feel very comfortable saying after all these years! The below review is from five years ago: I have seen many chiropractors through the last decade and in more than one country. I’ve been working with Dr. Caroline for a couple months and am very pleased with her work and with her as a caring person. I value that she will not do piecemeal work with her patients but rather insists on a realistic treatment plan. I have experienced real and continued relief with her treatments. She knows the field very well and is a gifted practitioner who is continually improving her practice. She has helped reduce both the pain and frequency of my migraines and she goes beyond chiropractic adjustments. She also successfully treated my tennis elbow with laser therapy (no more PT needed!). Over the past year, she has taken the time to walk me through different aspects of health, sometimes offering suggestions on vitamins and supplements (when I ask) after really listening to what I was experiencing each week. She offers solutions to nearly everything I throw at her! She has done an ergonomic analysis of my desk setup and even sends me personalized stretches depending on how my body is feeling each week. Not one who likes to take lots of medications, I appreciate Dr. C's detailed approach to wellness and have been seeing her for over 15 years. I truly believe her chiropractic adjustments has allowed me to stay healthy doing all that I do as a very active business owner, community servant and mother/primary caregiver of an adult daughter with cognitive and physical disabilities. Her adjustments have also helped my disabled daughter with some of her health issues. After doing some research, I found Dr. Caroline and decided to give her office a try. From the very beginning, she was attentive and compassionate. She took the time to really listen to my symptoms and concerns, and then explained in detail what was happening with my jaw and how everything was connected. Her approach was educational and informative, and she made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. Her treatment plan was both gentle and effective. She has helped me tremendously with my vertigo, neck pain, and headaches. She’s passionate about her work, and it shows in the way she treats her patients. She did a physical assessment and x-rays during the first appointment (we set up as a chiropractic assessment since that includes discussion of other areas of need as well). Dr. Caroline took the time to ask questions, listen and understand the issues and explain her recommendations. Theresa Crawford709 days agoI was diagnosed with Piriformis Syndrome which was causing a lot of pain in my hip and sciatic nerve. My daughter and son-in-law recommended that I contact Dr. Caroline regarding laser therapy and radial pressure shockwave therapy. When I met with Dr. Caroline, she was very thorough in explaining the therapy that she recommended to address my condition. After the first three laser and shockwave treatments, my pain had decreased tremendously! Dr. Caroline is very welcoming and behind the smile, she is a powerhouse of useful information to help me stay healthy. She goes above and beyond to listen - which is rare for any type of doctor. She made it clear that her focus is correcting the cause of my chronic back issue so I can work out and do all the things I love to do without being in constant pain. Depending on which areas of my body need to be adjusted, Dr. Caroline will (most often) use her hands, or she will incorporate the class 4 laser to speed things up. In the few weeks I have been a patient here, I have watched Dr. Caroline adjust pregnant moms, babies, teens, as well as adults. I am really happy to be getting chiropractic care in my 20s. When we called to make an appointment we were greeted by an energetic Emily. Emily was able to get us an appointment that day and sent all the paperwork over electronically which made it very easy to complete prior to our arrival. Once we arrived we were greeted by Emily who got us checked in and made the process very simple. The exam with Dr. Caroline was very thorough and very relaxing. We’re wry happy and excited that we found the right chiropractor with great bedside manner, experience and knowledge to help keep our bodies healthy and in top working condition. Wallace Justice902 days agoRelief is coming!After several years of chronic knee pain and visits to different doctors, my functional medical doctor in Montgomery,Alabama, suggested that I see a functional chiropractor and recommended Dr. Caroline and Balance Atlanta. My knees and hips were so painful that it affected my gait and my ability to be as active as I would like to be. After X-rays and a thorough review of my issues, she began a treatment plan to get me back in line. After just a few adjustments along with deep lazer therapy my pain is greatly reduced, my posture has improved, I am walking better and feeling better. I also have planter fibromatosis (ledderhose) in my feet that are large, painful lumps that affect my gait. Very few doctors treat them but Dr. Caroline is using shockwave therapy and deep laser therapy and they are shrinking! I can already tell a difference in their size and the way I walk after only 3 treatments! Dr. Caroline is so kind and knowledgeable and truly wants me to be pain-free and strong. Her staff….Emily and Linda are the best! You can tell that they, like Dr. Caroline, care about me and want to help me to be my best! After exams and analysis, Dr C created a plan for us and has been treating my daughter for 3 months now. “A” is 14 and absolutely loves Dr. Caroline. Her posture is improved, her discomfort is much better, and she has found a wonderful adult figure in whom she trusts. Dr. C is able to talk to her about life issues, ways to deal with stress, diet, etc in a manner that is well received. “A” listens bc Dr. C is not her parent! lol! I could not even lie down. I had to sleep sitting upright. Walking was even difficult. When you come to her practice, she takes the time to listen to your needs/wants/complaints, and makes sure to offer the best service that suits you. I went to her looking for functional medicine, but after some discussion, she decided a chiropractic would help me the most and she was right!! I used to suffer from awful menstrual cramps that would leave me unable to walk, drive or do my life, haven’t had one in 3 months! My migraines have greatly been reduced and as a bonus, my purse no longer falls from my left shoulder from this one being too slanted. I had the pleasure of visiting her during my 36th week of pregnancy when my baby was in a breech position. She was gently and made me feel comfortable at every visit. Although I was unable to get the baby to turn, Dr. C was able to help me open my pelvis and relieve pressure off my lower back, which greatly eased my labor and delivery. Thanks to Dr. C's expertise, I was able to have a smooth vaginal breech delivery, which was an incredible relief. Her knowledge and skill in chiropractic care are truly remarkable. In addition to my own experience, I have also had my children adjusted by Dr. C, and the results were phenomenal. David Nguyen1276 days agoMy sister and her husband, who are both nurses, recommended that I take my newborn there for an adjustment. According to them, getting an alignment would help prevent colic issues. It has been 2 to 3 weeks and I feel like it has helped. My newborn only cries when she is hungry. The doctor is very friendly and her office is very easy to get to. After almost a decade as a professional athlete, I was certain I would need to have surgery for my shoulder at the very least. After committing to a conservative regime of chiropractic treatment, I'm pleased to say all three issues are entirely gone. Kathy Oliver1337 days agoI’ve lived with chronic back pain the majority of my life (since high school) and have developed constant hip joint pain after 20 years of desk jobs. In December, I finally decided to try chiropractic care and found Balance Atlanta through a recommendation from a coworker. After about 6 weeks of care, my pain is mostly gone! I still have occasional aches, and I know that I’m not “fixed” yet, but I know I’m moving in the right direction. Additionally, I’ve found Dr Caroline to be a positive, beautiful soul who makes me feel better mentally each time I see her! She’s kind and caring and always makes me smile! After struggling with neck and sinus issues that only seemed to be getting worse and worse, I finally decided that I needed to see a chiropractor. I've been seeing Dr. Caroline for just about a month now, and I've already noticed significant improvements in both my pain and my congestion. I've had a much easier time sleeping through the night, and my posture has already noticeably straightened. Courtney Hollis1457 days agoI started seeing Dr Caroline 3 weeks ago for night time heart arrhythmias, neck and upper back pain, general menopause and aging symptoms. Since treatment has started, the arrhythmias have only occurred a few times and I'm sleeping better. I have an overall feeling of calm. She was able to help me feel better and have a much more active pregnancy and better delivery. The adjustments were great, but an added benefit is the wisdom and good chats while you’re there. After just one adjustment, it was confirmed at my ob appt the next day that the baby is now head down!! Gaining mobility back in my hips as well. This program and Dr. Caroline's coaching has changed the way that I eat but also the way I feed my family. After generations of obesity and diseases, I refuse to write the same story for my children. Alejandra Flores1590 days agoDr.Caroline has the magic touch! I am extremely happy and grateful to have met Dr. C. I have suffered with migraines most of my life but the last 2/3 years had turned unbearable. My migraine episodes were lasting from 4 to 5 days. I could not function. I would lock myself in a room for days because I could not stand the pain, noises or lights. Add being nauseous the entire time and I was miserable. In addition to the migraines, I also had digestive issues and brain fog. I was a very lively, social sales manager at work and busy mother of two at home. Things got so out of hand I could no longer work. My body was not able to function properly due to the stress my brain was experiencing with the migraines. I tried all kinds of doctors and treatments from neurologist to physical therapy. The neurologist had me on a treatment plan with antidepressants and monthly shots to manage the pain plus shots every time a migraine started. I could not see myself on those kinds of meds the rest on my life. I kept reading and researching my options. I had hopped around from chiropractor to chiropractor trying to find some relief without any luck until someone recommended Dr. Caroline von Fluegge-Chen in Atlanta. Atlanta is an hour and a half drive for me but I was desperate to find some help. After the initial consult with Dr. C I knew I have to make the commitment to see Dr. C three times a week. Kara Boucher1617 days agoThe repair and clear program was one of the best decisions I have made for my physical and mental health in a long while. I've always had GI issues ever since I could remember and figured it was just something I'd have to live with it. I've tried previously to eat healthier, avoid and identify possible triggers but nothing seemed to help. After meeting with Dr. Caroline and starting the repair and clear program, it finally felt like I had a trustworthy plan of action forward. Adjusting to the restricted foods was easier than expected with Dr. Caroline's guidance and supplements, it was easy to fall into a new routine. Week by week I could see improvements in my symptoms. Summer Warren1708 days agoI initially made the appointment for functional medicine because I was having some gut health issues. Dr. Caroline was able to educate me and really dig into what was going on with my body. She was able to help me with the stomach pains, bloating, fatigue and a number of other issues. I also decided to get chiropractic services and this was life changing! I literally have had headaches for years stemming from sitting at the computer for so long. I would wake up with a headache about 5 days a week. By the 3rd week of going to Dr. C I started to notice the headaches were a bit less intense and frequent. Rebecca Byram1716 days agoI first went to see Dr. Caroline in 2018 when, at 38 weeks pregnant, I found out my baby was transverse (sideways) in the womb. If the baby wasn't head down by the following week, I would most likely need a scheduled c-section. Over the course of that week, I went to see Dr. Caroline several times and did the recommended stretches/exercises from the Spinning Babies website. Dr. Caroline knew exactly what she was doing and I was confident that I was in good, skilled hands. I'm happy to say that it worked and I was able to wait and go into labor naturally. The next time I went to see her was in 2021, 37 weeks into my second pregnancy, having just found out my baby was transverse in the womb (again). The combination of exercises and adjustments from Dr. Caroline worked again, and the baby was head down by my next appointment. An added benefit was that it felt really good! Deedee Ewubare1816 days agoI was waking up in the middle of the night with pins & needles in my hands that kept me from falling back asleep. My Doctor at Kaiser diagnosed it as Carpal Tunnel syndrome and wanted to operate. I saw Dr Caroline for a second opinion and she did a much more thorough exam than the orthopedic doctor and came up with a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan. I’m not quite at the halfway point but I have experienced significant improvement to the point where I am getting a full night of sleep. Jeffrey Wright1820 days agoDr. C is Amazing! I tore my ACL 3 years ago and have felt like I have not been fully vertical in 2 years. She straightened me out and I now no longer shift all my weight to one leg when I stand. I also used to have my left foot kick out (ACL tear side) 45 degrees. I now feel like I am walking 1” taller and my feet are parallel again! Running is even much more comfortable than it has been in years. This is all on top of her magic sleep potion. Keith Fulp1820 days agoMany years ago, I came to Balance Atlanta with various back and spine related ailments. A very confident Dr Caroline told me that she could fix all of my problems…and she did! Dr Caroline goes beyond the normal chiropractic adjustments. She educated me on the reasons that I was in the shape that I was. Years have flown by and I found myself suffering from another group of aches and pains. I explained my problems to Dr C, and once again I got the very confident “I can fix that” reply. I actually felt like a patient, like someone was really caring for me, listening to me and taking the time to understand me and my needs. Elizabeth Pitcher1912 days agoI cannot recommend Dr. Caroline and balance Atlanta enough. I am a client of both her functional medicine and chiropractic practice. I walked into her office with significant health issues and at my wits end with the pain from my Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sjögren’s syndrome and other autoimmune disorders. I had gained so much weight from various medications over the years and could not take it off. I knew the weight also did not help with my chronic pain. I was in a vicious circle that just wouldn’t stop. I found Dr. C via google and after thoroughly reading her website, I knew I had to have a consultation. She sent me for blood work and explained the results compared to a woman my age. Not the “standard” ranges that you normally get at your primary care office. The results when compared to a person of my age and gender were unbelievable. Now wonder I was having so many issues. My thyroid wasn’t even functioning amongst other serious vitamin deficiencies. I chose to move forward with a full 12 week detox and chiropractic work. I was at a point that is someone told me lettuce for a year, I would do it. That’s how badly I hurt all over. Dr. C also discussed and asked about my level of commitment in which I thought was fantastic. I was so impressed by that because it really showed me how serious and committed she was to me and if I wasn’t as serious or committed, this wouldn’t work. I held up a photo of my 2 year old and told her, I need to live a long time for her…. Tears filled our eyes. This is truly personalized medicine and she is whom I call “an angel”. Dr. C created a plan, gave me a very detailed oriented binder with all of my results and a complete roadmap of how to work this 12 weeks. We had one on one calls each week about the functional medicine. We worked (and still do), three times a week on chiropractic. The 12 week program, I won’t lie, was challenging but she was with me the whole time. She sent recipes, endless food ideas, exercises, words of encouragement and so much time talking and getting to know me. She helped to dig deeper into what the stressors were/are in my life that contributes to the underlying issues I had which have led me to her. I lost 17lbs in two weeks and am currently at 38lb weigh loss. Most importantly, I am completely pain free from the agony my autoimmune diseases cause me. We focused through my 12 week program and my post life choice new eating habits and planning on eliminating the inflammation. That is the root of a lot of my physical ailments. The chiropractic work helps tremendously. I’m the one on the table who let’s put that big “ahhhh” after a good adjustment. Lol. I have to say, Dr. C changed my life. Caught me when I was just falling, and held my hand to bring me to health. It is a life commitment but one I could have never done without Dr. C. I would recommend her to everyone (and have been doing just that). She had multiple MRIs, saw a neurologist, an Allergist, an ophthalmologist, and her pediatrician many times. We tried several different meds, but nothing helped. Most chiropractors I have been to seem to forget what your ailments are and crack away without any defined direction. Dr. Caroline is thoughtful and caring. She will work with you to ensure that your spine gets back on track. And Kristina will work with your schedule (even at the last minute) to ensure you receive the care you need. Mandy Eldridge2107 days agoI came to Dr. Caroline after months of rashes, hives, and breakouts from unknown origins. I was so frustrated because I had done elimination diets on my own as well as consulted with a Dermatologist and Allergist. I was left with so few answers and a feeling that all of this was food-related, but couldn't tie the pieces together myself. After Dr. C ran the initial blood work, it was apparent that my body was full of inflammation. This was a shock to me as I am a person who "does all the right things". I ate very healthy, exercised five to six days a week, purchased organic and natural foods and home items. After digesting the news, I was immediately ready to do whatever needed to be done to heal my insides. I started my journey to heal my gut the next week! I cannot emphasize enough that my relief was almost instant! Between the supplements and the complete removal of any well known trigger foods, my body and mind responded with vigor! My slight 5'3" 115lb frame leaned out in a few weeks time. In the first two weeks I dropped almost seven pounds of what I can only assume was inflammation. I describe it as if someone popped a balloon around me. I was in no way overweight, but after it was gone, I realized I was carrying some kind of swelling or visible inflammation in my flesh. And you know what? MY CELLULITE DISAPPEARED!!!! What??? I have literally read books on the subject and tried all the techniques to get rid of it with no luck. Turns out my cellulite was inflammation! Fast forward to today, three months after I met Dr. C. I've reintroduced some foods; however, I feel too good to even bother bringing most of them back. My output at the gym has been phenomenal: doing the same class I had before, I'm burning an average of 100 additional calories without working harder! My body is just that much more efficient. We went to her after struggling with nursing due to my son seeming uncomfortable and irritable while eating. After 5 sessions, he has come a long way and feedings are much more enjoyable now. She has helped with his eating as well as bowel movements to help him feel more comfortable while eating. Each adjustment is quick and easy so we are in and out in 10 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Caroline if your baby seems irritable, gassy or uncomfortable - you just never know if they’re feeling sore from delivery and need a little adjusting to get their body back in line.Posted on Google

My second pregnancy I attempted a VBAC and had an amazing, successful experience- thanks to Dr. Caroline and of course a great OB medical team. I committed to chiropractic care throughout the pregnancy. The birth was 17 hours along with 2 hours 45 minutes of active pushing and my sons heartbeat, blood pressure, etc stayed consistent throughout it all because of optional position. I am forever grateful for the incredible experience. Dr. Caroline is professional and genuinely interested in each patients health, needs, and just life in general. After suffering with a severe case of sciatica, she was immediately able to get the condition under control and over time relieved 99% of the symptoms. I tried another chiropractor for years with very poor results and she provided immediate relief. Keep in mind if you are a good patient she will give you some chocolate.Posted on Google

I suffered from SI pain and lower back pain before pregnancy and knew it would only get worse with my changing body. I started treatments in my second trimester religiously and now that I am just 7 weeks from my due date, I essentially have no pain! She is very intelligent, attentive and personable. She is a Master in her field and somehow remembers the personal and up-to-date details of each of her patients. Her beautiful and spry energy definitely adds to the healing she provides with her services! I’ve struggled with chronic back pain for most of my life and after working with Dr. C for a short time, I already know that I will be a lifelong patient! Her office staff is great, too - very friendly and knowledgeable/helpful. Dr. Caroline was flexible and got me in without the typical long waiting for an appointment I’ve experienced elsewhere. Also her gentle demeanor helped calm any reservations I had about treatments and I couldn’t wait to go back for my next appointment. I really appreciate her holistic approach to mind and body health and the various options that were available. Would definitely recommend seeing Dr. C and Balance Atlanta for chiropractic care. Not only will she adjust you, but she also provides exercises for muscle strengthening, has an X-ray machine, InBody230 (measures body composition) and a device to see if your alignment is off due to posture vs. hemiatrophy.
